i was looking at buying the nikon d3100 from ebay for $579 it comes with a one year warrenty from the seller but because it was originally brought from over seas (grey market) then it doesnt have the Nikon australian Warrenty. is this a major issue? would you or wouldnt you buy it?
oh and canon 1100D vs Nikon D3100?
this is it: and it comes with a one year warranty? http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem%26amp;item=140526874418%26amp;ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:AU:1123#ht_5454wt_1173|||the feedback is really good for an ebay seller, especially the fact that theres 206 already sold.
i would get the d3100|||Canon is NOT better than Nikon. And I would avoid ANY grey market cameras. Period.
It's only an issue if something goes wrong with the camera.
Grey market often means something will be missing from the box. It's cheaper for a reason, and the reason is never good.|||Kitty, I can tell you are pretty anxious as you've asked this question three times! Just go and buy a NEW D3100 from Amazon.com as they have it for $599 with full warranty.
Yes, you'd have to pay for shipping from the US to Australia, but with the current exchange rate, you'd get it at an excellent price.|||I would probably still buy it, and Canon is better than Nikon
