was going to bid on a camcorder on ebay. the seller has good reviews, i just want to know if it does go threw would i get the right camera would it be broken, or is it just imported directly from another country that bypasses the U.S. Manufacturers Authorized Distributors??! cause if the only thing wrong is that i would rather do that and save a couple hundred.|||A "grey market" item just means it is not normally sold (yet is still legal to sell) in your country.
There's nothing wrong with buying this type of merchandise, and many times you'll get features that aren't included in "regular" goods (like a DVD player that plays all region codes).
Just make sure there are no compatibility issues (like voltage requirements or NTSC vs PAL output).|||Read all the fine print. Thats the only thing you can do.
